GREENBELT, Md. — A drive on the Baltimore Washington Parkway ended with a trip to the hospital after a passenger in a vehicle was shot by a person in another vehicle late Monday night, U.S. Park Police say.
The shooting happened in the area of the parkway near the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt. The person who is expected to survive, according to police. Officers responded at 11:30 p.m. and the person was transported to the hospital.
Investigators do not know who the suspect is or what led up to shots being fired. Currently, there is no description of the shooter or the vehicle they were in.
