BETHESDA, Md. — An instance of neighbors helping neighbors is getting us uplifted.
A local nonprofit and business helped a man in Montgomery County clean up his back and front yards, and he is now living clutter-free! Rebuilding Together Montgomery County works to ensure low-income homeowners, especially older adults, veterans, the disabled, and families with kids live safely and independently.
The nonprofit, with the help of Reston-based Beacon Building Projects cleaned up the yard of a Bethesda man named Anthony. We're told he works part-time to support himself, but has had a bit of a hard time with upkeep of his property since his business closed.
That's when Rebuilding Together and Beacon stepped in. They gave free landscaping services for both the front and back yards of Anthony's home.
