We have been following one little girl in Virginia as she makes sure young hospital patients have something to do while they are receiving treatment, and we have a great Get Uplifted update.
11-year-old Emma Fischer of Fairfax County is a girl scout who recently advanced to the cadette level.
Emma was looking for a way to help our community. She decided to have a book drive to benefit kids at Inova Cares for Children.
She collected a whopping 650 books and she recently made the delivery to the hospital.
Emma has certainly made a difference and brightened the days of other children going through a tough time.
