WASHINGTON — Get your mittens ready — winter has officially checked in!
Friday morning, on the coldest day of the season yet, flurries and snow showers came down around the DMV. While there wasn't enough snow to stick in most areas, the sight transformed the morning into a chilly preview of winter.
