School bus driver sent to hospital after tree falls on top of bus

According to Prince William County Police, no students were on board the bus when the tree fell.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — A Prince William County school bus driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries after a tree fell on their bus.

The accident happened on Devlin Road and University Blvd, on Wednesday, mid-afternoon. According to Prince William County Police, no students were on board the bus when the tree fell. 

While it is unclear what caused the tree to fall, heavy winds were reported in the area.
