Election Day will start off cool with most places in the 40s and 50s. By the afternoon highs will reach the mid 70s under partly sunny skies. If you have to wait outside in a line to vote be sure you have sunglasses, sunscreen, and water!
Our dry streak without any measurable rain is now up to 33 days. The record is 34 days set back in 2007 and we will break that tomorrow. A burn ban has been issued for the state of Maryland, meaning there can be no outdoor burning or any kind. The ongoing dry conditions paired with dried leaf debris is keeping the risk of brush fires elevated.
