CENTREVILLE, Va. — Drivers are being told to avoid Braddock Road in Centreville after a gas line was struck Tuesday.
Firefighters responded to the intersection of Braddock Road and Cranoke Street after a 4-inch gas line was struck, according to the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department (FCFRD).
Braddock Road is closed in both directions, and drivers are asked to seek alternate routes.
It is not yet known how the gas leak occurred or how long the road will be shut down.
