HYATTSVILLE, Md. — Hyattsville Police say a person riding their motorcycle was killed in a crash on East-West Highway on Saturday.
Police say the crash took place in the 4300 block of East-West Highway and involved a car and a motorcycle. A Honda HRC was reportedly making a U-turn from the westbound lanes to the eastbound lanes of the highway. The motorcyclist was traveling eastbound when they were was struck by the driver of the Honda HRC.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead on site, and police say they are working to identify the victim.
Police say the eastbound East-West Highway was re-opened Saturday evening after being closed for several hours during the investigation.
