Man killed in Fairfax Co. motorcycle crash

A 32-year-old Woodbridge man was taken to an area hospital where he died. Detectives say a BMW sedan may have been involved in the crash.

NEWINGTON, Va. — An investigation is underway in Fairfax County after a man died early Sunday morning in a motorcycle crash

At 5:18 a.m. on May 12, officers responded to investigate the crash involving a 2003 Honda 1300 on Rolling Road near Delong Drive in Newington. A motorcyclist, later identified as 32-year-old Cornell Parish III, of Woodbridge, was taken to an area hospital after the crash where he later died from his injuries.

Detectives say a BMW sedan may have been involved in the crash.

Since the start of the year, there have been 12 crash-related deaths in the county. This compares to 6 crash-related deaths at the same time in 2023. 

The investigation into this deadly crash is active and ongoing.
