WASHINGTON — With Usher set to take the stage on Sunday for this year's Super Bowl halftime show in Las Vegas, it has us thinking about past performances.

We did the math for you and put together a list of the 9 most-viewed halftime shows in Super Bowl history below using several sources, including Billboard magazine:
9.) Justin Timberlake | 106.6 million views
- Timberlake's 2018 Super Bowl LII performance is the 9th most-watched halftime show at 106.6 million views.
- Jimmy Fallon introduced Justin Timberlake at the beginning of the show which featured songs including "Filthy," "Rock Your Body," "Señorita," "SexyBack," "My Love," and "Cry Me a River".
- For the first time since the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show in Indianapolis in 2012, no pyrotechnics were used throughout the performance.
8.) Black Eyed Peas | 110.2 million views
- At 110.2 million views, the Black Eyed Peas' 2011 Super Bowl XLV halftime performance ranks as the 8th most-watched.
- Originally, a country music halftime show was planned before the Black Eyed Peas agreed to perform.
- Songs that were featured in the show include "Where Is The Love," "I Gotta Feeling," "Boom Boom Pow," "Sweet Child o' Mine," and "OMG."
- Both Slash and Usher made guest appearances.
7.) Beyoncé | 110.8 million views
- Coming in 7th place is Bey's 2013 XLVIII halftime show at 110.8 million views.
- The show opened with an instrumental portion of "Run the World (Girls)," followed by featured songs including "Love on Top," "Crazy in Love," "End of Time," and "Baby Boy."
- Beyoncé headlined with special guests Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child.
6.) Madonna | 114 million views
- Madonna's 2012 Super Bowl XLVI performance ranks as the 6th most-watched of all time at 114 million views.
- The show began with men dressed as gladiators pulling a large structure hidden from view by large gold-colored flags. The song "Vogue" began and flags were removed, revealing Madonna in a gold cape and an ancient Egyptian helmet seated on a large throne.
- LMFAO joined Madonna on stage to perform "Party Rock Anthem," and "Sexy and I Know It." Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. also joined the pop star onstage for special performances.
- The show ended with "World Peace" appearing on the ground screens with an image of the continents.
5.) Bruno Mars | 115.3 million views
- Bruno Mars had over 115.3 million eyes on his 2014 Super Bowl XLVIII performance.
- The halftime show was headlined by Bruno Mars alongside his band The Hooligans with special guests The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
- Mars made history as the youngest artist ever to serve as the sole NFL Super Bowl halftime headliner at 28 years old.
- He opened the show with a drum solo on a kit designed to honor his late mother.
4.) Coldplay | 115.5 million views
- At 115.5 million views, Coldplay's 2016 halftime show ranks as the 4th most-watched.
- Special guests Beyoncé and Bruno Mars joined Coldplay during the band's performance at Super Bowl 50.
- The show opened with Chris Martin singing "Yellow," followed by featured songs including "Viva la Vida," "Paradise," and "Adventure of a Lifetime."

- Coming in third is Lady Gaga's 2017 halftime performance for Super Bowl LI in Houston with 117.5 million views.
- The show is remembered for its nod to the LGBT community.
- Some featured songs included "Just Dance," "The Edge of Glory," "Paparazzi," "Poker Face," and "Born This Way."
- Her performance ended with fireworks erupting and Gaga jumping off the stage to catch a football.
2.) Katy Perry | 121 million views
- Katy Perry's 2015 performance at Super Bowl XLIX is the second most-watched show of all time at 121 million views.
- Some songs featured during her performance include "Roar," "Dark Horse," "I Kissed a Girl," "Teenage Dream," and "California Gurls."
- Rapper Missy Elliott and Lenny Kravitz joined Perry onstage for the performance.
1.) Rihanna | 121.017 million views
- At the very top, with 121.017 million views, is Rihanna's 2023 Super Bowl LVII performance.
- During which, she revealed that she was pregnant with her second child with partner A$AP Rocky.
- It was her first live performance in five years since appearing at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards in 2018.
