RESTON, Va. — Detectives in Fairfax County announced the arrest of a Reston man suspected of distributing marijuana and other drugs from his apartment.
The investigation began last month when the Gang Intelligence Unit received a tip about a juvenile suspected of dealing drugs, who also had illegal guns. That tip led to an investigation, and detectives executed a series of search warrants on March 8.
The first was at the juvenile's home in the 11500 block of Cypress Point Circle. While searching the home, detectives found a 9 mm rifle, a handgun, ammo, narcotics and suspected psilocybin mushrooms.
The second search warrant was for an apartment belonging to 27-year-old Timothy Dailey of Reston. While searching that apartment in the 11200 Reston Station Boulevard, detectives found 36 pounds of marijuana, more than 800 suspected THC vape cartridges, more than 160 THC edibles, and nearly 700 suspected Adderall pills.
Detectives also searched another residence belonging to Dailey in the 1500 block of Scandia Circle. There, a thousand more suspected THC vape cartridges were found, along with what was thought to be THC oil and marijuana seeds.
Dailey was charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute narcotics, and four counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana. He is being held on no bond.
Police say the investigation is ongoing. Anyone who may have more information about this case is asked to call Fairfax County's Organized Crime and Intelligence Bureau at 703-246-7800.
