LINCOLNIA, Va. — An ATM was stolen from a convenience store in Fairfax County Tuesday morning, and now police are working to find the robbers that took it.
Just after 5 a.m., the Fairfax County Police Department posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that officers were at the scene of a robbery. It happened at a 7-Eleven, located on Beauregard Street, off of Little River Turnpike, in Lincolnia.
Through an initial investigation, police learned that multiple people entered the store, implied they had a gun, and then stole the ATM.
No injuries were reported as a result of the robbery.
The people accused of robbing the store were seen leaving the scene in a grey BMW with Virginia tags that displayed "TNV1895." No additional information has been released about the people of interest, this includes what direction they were heading in, or what they were wearing at the time of the crime.
Police have advised anyone with information about the robbery case to call 911.
