Man accused of stabbing dog faces new charges

Farm workers say later that evening, they found two deceased ducks on their property.

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. — A man accused of stabbing a dog is facing new charges of trespassing on a farm where some animals were later found dead.

According to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO), 25-year-old Reyan H. Ibrahim is now facing charges of trespassing and wearing a mask on private property.

Investigators claim Ibrahim walked into a property in the 15000 block of Berlin Turnpike in Purcellville on January 12. He reportedly tried to get close to the animals on the land and was then asked to leave.

Farm workers say later that evening, they found two deceased ducks on their property. A day later, the suspect returned and was again asked to leave. Workers contacted deputies after owners read about other suspicious incidents involving a similarly described man approaching animals.

That same weekend Ibrahim is accused of randomly attacking a dog as she was being walked by her owner in Falls Church. The dog, named Lucy, was injured so badly, she had to be euthanized.

Ibrahim is being held at the Arlington County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
