Man accused of indecent exposure identified from composite sketch

Officers arrived at an apartment building where they found 34-year-old Jovica Stanisic in the lobby.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — A man accused of indecent exposure is facing charges for incidents dating back to 2022.

On Thursday, officers arrived at the 6200 block of Knollwood Drive after receiving a tip from a caller. The caller told police the man resembled a composite sketch released last month by Fairfax County Police.

Officers arrived at an apartment building where they found 34-year-old Jovica Stanisic in the lobby. They took Stanisic into custody.

On October 26, officers were called to the same area for reports of a sexual offense towards a minor. When they arrived the victim told police they were approached by Stanisic and he exposed himself.

Detectives believed Stanisic was connected to other cases of sexual offenses dating back to August 20, 2022.

Stanisic has since been released on secure bond.

Detectives believe there could be more victims and are urging anyone with information regarding this or any incident to call our Major Crimes Bureau at 703-246-7800. Anyone who wishes to remain anonymous can do so, simply call 1-866-411-TIPS to submit your information.
