WASHINGTON — US Park Police are looking for six people in connection to violence and vandalism during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's D.C. visit last week. One man is wanted for assaulting a police officer, and several others are wanted for vandalizing federal property.
It happened around 3 p.m. on July 24 on Columbus Circle outside Union Station. Protesters gathered there to voice opposition to Netanyahu's address to Congress. That protest led property damage, graffiti and other property damage.
It took the National Park Service several days to get rid of the graffiti on statues and fountains, as well as the American Legion Freedom Bell.
If you recognize any of the people in these photos, investigators are asking you to contact US Park Police via their tip line at 202-379-4877 or email USPP_Tipline@nps.gov.
