Have you seen him? Police asking for public's help locating non-verbal man missing for over a month from St. Mary's County

McDonald has been described as being 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 220 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes.

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — Prince William County Police are asking for the public's help in locating a non-verbal man who has been missing for over a month. 

Gil McDonald, 56, has been missing since Oct. 28 from the Point Lookout area of St. Mary's County, and is considered to be critically missing. 

On Nov. 17, the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office and partnering agencies conducted a search operation for him which lasted throughout the day in Scotland, Maryland, in the area between Fresh Neck Pond Road and Point Lookout State Park. The effort included deputies, fire and rescue personnel and search dogs.

Authorities say they believe McDonald could now be in the Woodbridge, Virginia area. He has been described as being 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 220 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. He is also non-verbal and has significant medical challenges.
