Police investigate double shooting in Prince George's County

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — Police are investigating a shooting along Indian Head Highway in Prince George's County that left two wounded Friday. 

According to the Prince George's County Police Department, the shooting happened in the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway. 

Not many details are available regarding what happened but police have confirmed that a teenager and a woman were both wounded in the shooting. Both victims were taken to an area hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. 

It is unclear if the two victims know each other. 

No suspect information has been released at this time.

There is no word on any possible motive of what may have happened in the moments leading up to the shooting.
