Two family members independently told WUSA9 that the teen boy was found safe.
MPD confirms the child has been reunited with family.

Police are asking for the public's help to find a 13-year-old boy they say was last seen in an Uber in Northeast D.C.
The Metropolitan Police Department shared a flyer for a critically missing teenager early Monday morning. He is considered critically missing because of his age. According to police, the teen was last seen Sunday night around 9:30 p.m. He was last reported to be inside an Uber ride at the intersection of New York Avenue Northeast and New Jersey Avenue Northeast.
The circumstances of his disappearance have not been made public as the search continues.
The boy is described a being about 4 feet 8 inches tall and 65 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with a black hoodie, blue pants and gray New Balance shoes.
The case is being investigated by MPD's Youth and Family Services Division. Anyone who may know where the teen is should contact police at 202-727-9099 or 202-576-6768. Anonymous tips can also be sent to the police department's text tip line at 50411.
Police have not offered more information, but say the investigation is active and ongoing.
