WASHINGTON — As runners get ready take their marks for D.C.'s 2024 Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon and 5K on Saturday, several streets in and around the area will close.
In addition to streets closing, there will be posted parking restrictions in place from Friday evening through Saturday.
Drivers in the area are being told to proceed with caution as officials expect there to be a large number of people attending the race.
Here's what anyone planning on driving in D.C. needs to know ahead of Rock N' Roll Marathon on Saturday:
The following streets will be posted as Emergency No Parking from 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16:
- Pennsylvania Avenue from 3rd Street to 7th Street, NW
- Constitution Avenue from 3rd Street to 7th Street, NW
- 3rd Street from Constitution Avenue, NW to Independence Avenue, SW
- 4th Street from Madison Drive to Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
- 6th Street from C Street to Constitution Avenue, NW
The following streets will be posted as Emergency No Parking on Saturday, March 16 from 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.:
