WASHINGTON — D.C. police are investigating a shooting that claimed the life of a 15-year-old.
On Saturday, police were called to the 600 block of 18th Street, Northeast, just after 10:30 p.m. for reports of shots fired. When they arrived they found a person lying in the street suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim has been identified as Victor Bolden. Bolden was taken to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
Police have not released any information of a possible suspect.
If you know anything about this shooting, call police at 202-727-9099. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest.
