WASHINGTON — D.C. and Arlington County, Virginia, have announced road closures for Sunday morning and afternoon as racers run the Marine Corps Marathon, 50k and 10k .
The marathon and 50k races start near the Pentagon and Pentagon City Metro stations. Those races will then end near the Rosslyn station.
"The public should expect to see an increased police presence in the area, and motorists are urged to follow law enforcement direction," Arlington County Police Department said. "Motorists should be on the lookout for temporary “No Parking” signs. Illegally parked vehicles will be ticketed or towed."
Below are the closure locations and times for Washington, D.C. on Sunday, including the Key and Memorial Bridges which will be closed to traffic from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
