WASHINGTON — The 49th Annual Marine Corps Marathon is returning to the DMV in just a few weeks.

The race will take place on Sun., Oct. 27. The 50k will begin at 7:15 a.m., followed by the wheelchair/hand cycle at 7:50 a.m. and the Marathon at 7:55 a.m. all on Route 110 in Arlington County, Virginia. This means road closures and a lot of them. At this time, only the Virginia road closures have been announced. DC road closures list are still pending.

At approximately 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2024, Southbound Route 110 will be closed from Washington Boulevard to Route 1 and will re-open at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 27, 2024.
The listed re-opening times are approximate and will be dictated by the course cleanup efforts. Other roads not listed above may be closed at law enforcement discretion in the interest of public safety.
Designated rideshare drop-off and pick-up zones have been established at the following locations:
