Popular Reddit posts have solicited crying spot recommendations in D.C. for years. Here are some of the favorites.

WASHINGTON — Sometimes you just need to let it out. 

But crying at home isn't always the most ideal option. 

In multiple D.C. Reddit threads across the past five years, users have shared their top places to cry in the District. Most users agree the favorite place to cry is on the Metro, but specific locations across the city have also been offered by Redditors.

As recommended by fellow criers, here are some of D.C.'s favorite places to cry, by quadrant:
