WASHINGTON — A man is facing charges in connection to a shooting that left a man dead on Easter Sunday.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting happened inside an apartment building on 2nd Place, Southeast just after 3 a.m. on Sunday, March 31.
Upon arrival, officers found 44-year-old Michael James Quander Jr. wounded. He died from his injuries at the apartment.
More than a month later, police announced the arrest of 31-year-old Prashawn Brady, who is accused of killing Quander. Brady has been charged with second-degree murder while armed.
Brady and Quander knew each other before the deadly shooting and detectives say the motive appears to be due to domestic issues.
