HYATTSVILLE, Md. — The Prince George's County Police Department is looking to find the person responsible for shooting and killing a teenager on Saturday.
The teen has been identified as 16-year-old Carlos Segura III of Sandy Spring, MD. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this shooting.
On Saturday, at 7:30 p.m., officers responded to a shooting on Lebanon Street in the Langley Park area. Once there, officers say they found evidence of a shooting but no victim.
A short time later, detectives were told a teenager who has been injured in connection to this shooting showed up at an area hospital. He was identified as Segura and died shortly after at the hospital.
Detectives are working to determine a motive and identify the suspect(s) in this deadly shooting.
