WASHINGTON — D.C. Police are searching for suspects in connection to a convenience store robbery where $10,000 in cash was stolen from an ATM and the register.
At 12:35 a.m. on Saturday, security cameras caught two suspects climbing a ladder to the roof of Wheeler Market in Southeast D.C., according to police. The two suspects then cut through the ceiling of the address and entered through the roof.
Police say they destroyed and broke into an ATM, taking $9,965. The suspects then took $50 from the cash register, which triggered an alarm. The two fled the scene back through the roof.
Estimated damage to the roof is estimated at $2,000.
