ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. — An escaped inmate is back in custody after escaping in Anne Arundel County on Thursday morning. Per the Annapolis Police Department, James Gregory, has been captured on Maryland's Eastern shore. There is no ongoing threat to the public.
Anne Arundel County Police said Gregory escaped custody Thursday morning.
According to police, James Cash Gregory escaped from the Anne Arundel County Jennifer Road Detention Center at 11 a.m. Officials say, he just walked out of the Anne Arundel Medical Center.
He was being held in Anne Arundel County for a string of charges including carrying a concealed weapon, resisting arrest, identity fraud, and multiple theft charges.
Gregory had a bail hearing the day before his escape on Thursday morning where a judge ordered he be held without bond.
