MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. — An investigation is underway in Montgomery County after several overnight break-ins.
At 1:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Montgomery County Police officers responded to the Glen Echo Shopping Center for a report of multiple break-ins. Once there, officers noticed three businesses on MacArthur Boulevard and one business on Goldsboro Road appeared to have been impacted.
Investigators say unknown suspects forced their way inside the businesses, stole property, and ran away. The suspects were unable to break-in to one business on MacArthur Boulevard, though police say evidence shows they attempted too.
So far, police have not identified any suspects in connection to the break-ins.
The investigation into the overnight smash-ins is active and ongoing.
It is unclear what items were stolen and their value.
