WASHINGTON — Police have released surveillance photos of a man wanted in connection to a Southeast, D.C. shooting in hopes of gaining the public's help identifying him.
On Saturday, May 4, just after 4 p.m., officers responded to the 2800 block of Alabama Avenue in Southeast for the sounds of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located a man who had been shot. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment after the shooting.
Police say the suspect was captured by nearby surveillance cameras and can be seen in the photos below:
Anyone who can identify this suspect or who has knowledge of the shooting should take no action but call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's text tip line at 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
