WOODLAWN, Md. — Homicide detectives investigating the death of a 30-year-old man shot dead on the job last week have now released photos and video of those wanted for the crime. Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
Detectives say on April 4, at around 3:40 p.m., officers responded to the 6800 block of Greenvale Parkway for a shooting. Officers found Idongesit Udosen of Lanham in the street, shot several times. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspects are seen driving what appears to be a gray Kia sedan prior to the murder. When the trash truck arrives at the scene, the two suspects get out of the car and shot Udosen. They then leave in the car.
Police are still working to identify the suspects, and determine a motive for the shooting, but they do not believe the shooting was random.
Anyone with information about this case should contact homicide detectives at 301-516-2512.
