Prince George's County Police investigates armored truck robbery in Oxon Hill

OXON HILL, Md. — Prince George's County Police are investigating an armored truck robbery that happened Monday afternoon.

Police were called to the 5200 block of Indian Head Highway. The preliminary investigation shows an undisclosed amount of robbers targeted the truck and robbed the driver. 

The driver was not injured according to investigators. It is unclear if the robbers were able to get anything from inside of the truck. Very little information has been given regarding this case at this time.

The investigation is active and ongoing, police have not made any arrests in the case.
