Man breaks into DC business, steals property over hours-long period, police say

The man was caught on surveillance camera. Police need your help to find him.

WASHINGTON — Metropolitan Police Department officers are asking for the public's help to find a burglary suspect who stole from a business last week.

Police say the burglary happened on June 11 around 9:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of H Street Northeast. According to investigators, the man damaged a patio door and entered the business. Then, over the course of a couple of hours, went in and out of the business taking property. Police did not say what the man took, or estimate how much the property might have been worth.

The wanted man was caught on surveillance footage. Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call MPD at 202-727-9099 or text the department's tip line at 50411.
