Man shot, killed on 6th Street in SE DC

So far, detectives have not identified any suspects or persons of interest in connection to this deadly shooting.

WASHINGTON — Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Southeast, D.C. on Thursday.

At 12:56 p.m., officers with the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 3500 block of 6th Street, SE. At the scene, officers found a man who was not conscious or breathing who had been shot. Homicide detectives were called to the scene and the man was pronounced dead.

So far, detectives have not identified any suspects or persons of interest in connection to this deadly shooting.

The investigation into the man's death is active and ongoing.
