WASHINGTON — A homicide investigation is underway after a shooting in Southeast DC.
One man was pronounced dead after officers responded to a report of gunshots on Congress Street Southeast just after midnight Saturday, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
The victim of the shooting has been identified as Naheem Worley, 19, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, police say.
MPD is asking the public to call (202) 727-9099 or text 50411 if they have any information regarding this incident. According to DC Police, a cash reward of up to $25,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest or a conviction in this homicide case.
