WASHINGTON — DC Police are offering a reward for anyone who can help them identify the person who shot and killed a 49-year-old man in D.C. Tuesday night.
Investigators say at 6:55 p.m. on Dec. 12, officers with the Metropolitan Police Department were called to the 1400 block of Buchanan Street, NW for a report of a shooting. At the scene, one man suffering from a gunshot wound was found. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was later identified as Neil Clark, of no fixed address.
Initially police say they were on the lookout for someone in a grey hoodie. Homicide detectives continue to investigate, but have released no additional suspect information.
The police department offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a homicide in the District of Columbia. Anyone with information about this case is urged to call 202-727-9099 or text the department's tip line at 50411.
