Police search for answers after man shot dead at Largo Town Center

Homicide detectives are offering a reward for information in this case.

LARGO, Md. — Police are looking for answers after a Friday afternoon shooting in Prince George's County left a 27-year-old man dead. Detectives with the Prince George's County Police Department are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information.

Police were first called to Largo Town Center for a report of a shooting around 1 p.m. Once there, police found a man shot multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Later, he was identified as Craig Rogers II of Bowie, Maryland.

Homicide detectives are still investigating what led up to the shooting, but say it does not appear to be random. So far, detectives have not determined a motive, and have not identified any suspects.
