HYATTSVILLE, Md. — Four men were arrested for stabbing a man to death last month in Prince George’s County.

Hyattsville City Police responded to a call for a welfare check at 9:35 a.m. July 5 on Ager Road. Once there, they found 34-year-old Samuel Garcia Rojas dead in a car after being stabbed.

Now police have arrested 18-year-old Daniel Villanueva Bautista of Washington, D.C., 23-year-old Maxwel Quijano Casco of Hyattsville, 28-year-old Josue Lainez of Columbia, MD, and 29-year-old David Perlera-Gonzalez of Highland, MD. The men have been charged with first-and-second-degree murder and other related charges.

Investigators say the Rojas was stabbed following a dispute, but they have not provided any more details or said if the men knew Rojas or each other.

All four men are being held without bond.

Prince George’s County Police have taken over the investigation. It is still ongoing. Anyone with information on this case who would like to speak to a Homicide Unit detective may call 301-516-2512.
