WASHINGTON — DC Police have made an arrest in a stabbing that left one man dead and another in the hospital.
Police were called to a Georgetown Safeway parking garage just after 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday for the report of a fight. According to police, both men took themselves to a local hospital. One man was reported in critical condition. The other man, later identified as 36-year-old Anvar Guliyev of Fairfax, Virginia, died from his injuries at the hospital.
On Thursday, detectives arrested 34-year-old Khalil Khalilov of Alexandria for the stabbing. Police say Khalilov was charged with second-degree murder while armed and assault with intent to kill.
