FAIRFAX, Va. — Fairfax County Police released dash cam video of a man driving under the influence of drugs.
On Tuesday, an officer from the Sully Police District, participating in Road Shark, noticed a silver Volkswagen SUV speeding and driving recklessly on Route 28 towards Route 66.
The officer on duty attempted to catch up to the driver, but lost them. A call came in a few minutes afterwards of a crash on Route 28 on the ramp to 66.
The driver, Aiden Torney, 24, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, aggressive driving, reckless driving, felony eluding, two counts of failure to maintain lane, and failure to wear seatbelt.
There were no injuries to the driver.
