WASHINGTON — An investigation is underway in Northwest D.C. after a man was shot and killed.
On Oct. 2, just before 7:30 p.m., officers responded to investigate a shooting on N Street in Northwest D.C. Once there, officers found a man who had been shot. He was found alive and taken to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Three days later, on Oct. 5, the man died in the hospital.
He has since been identified as 43-year-old Tiara Thompson.
There is no word on what led up to the shooting. Police have not identified any suspects so far.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
