DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. — A second arrest has been made in connection with a shooting at a car meetup in District Heights that left one man dead.
The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit identified and charged 21-year-old Caimon Harrell, of Woodbridge, with multiple counts of murder, attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment and firearm related charges, according to court documents.
Police said Harrell was taken into custody Thursday by the Prince William County Police Department and is awaiting extradition to Prince George’s County.
Another suspect, 22-year-old Raheem Adams of Stafford, was arrested last week in connection with the May 19 shooting in District Heights.
Police say tips from the community, social media and phone records were instrumental in making these two arrests.
