WASHINGTON — Three teens have been arrested for armed carjacking in Southeast, D.C.
The victim told police he was parking his car Thursday night around 8:30 p.m., in the 1500 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast, when the three teens approached him. Police say one of the teens pulled out a gun and told the victim to get out of his car.
The victim got out, the teens reportedly got in his car and drove away. The victim called police and officers began canvassing the area. They were able to locate the teens that same day and placed them under arrest.
Police say the two 14-year-olds and a 13-year-old are facing armed carjacking charges.
