Ronih Murat Pacal, 40, leaves behind his wife and two young children, ages 4 and 6.

TAKOMA PARK, Md. — The community is coming together to help raise money for the family of a man shot and killed in Takoma Park. A GoFundMe has been started in honor of the father of two, 40-year-old Ronih Murat Pacal, who died from his injuries on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, Dec. 5, officers responded to calls of a shooting just after 3 a.m. in the 6700 block of New Hampshire Avenue. At the scene, they found a man who had been shot. The victim, later identified as 40-year-old Ronih Murat Pacal, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives have not released any information leading up to the shooting. As of now, there is no word on a suspect or motive.
