WASHINGTON — If you can't wait for the summer at the Warped Tour, tickets are officially on sale, but you will have to wait to find out what bands will actually be playing at the 2025 music festival.

Warped Tour was shut down in 2018, but came back a year later to celebrate 25 years. Next year, the music festival will celebrate the big 3-0 with stops in Long Beach, California; Orlando, Florida; and right here in the District.

However, instead of one day of concerts, the 30th-anniversary stops will feature two days of punk, pop-punk, emo, and ska. The D.C. dates are currently scheduled for June 14 and 15 at the Festival Grounds at RFK Campus.

Tickets went on sale for the music festival on Thursday with general admission tickets starting at $229.98 and VIP going for $449.98. However, payment plans are also available starting at $10 down. Children under 7 years old will also be admitted for free with a parents who has a ticket.

Founder Kevin Lyman told Rolling Stone that the lineup would include a mix of past Warped Tour bands and new artists, with about 70 to 100 bands performing. Some notable performers from years past include Blink-182, Paramore, NOFX, Green Day, Rancid and others.

But according to the frequently asked questions section of the Warped Tour website, the bands scheduled to appear at the festival won't be announced until January.

The FAQ says that different bands will play on each day and some will play all three cities, while others may only perform at one or two dates.

"We put together the best possible lineups in each market to deliver a great experience," the website reads. What that experience will entail, attendees won't know for a while.
