Non-profit raises awareness for PCOS with upcoming convention
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) is a disease that affects 1 in 5 women. Although this disease can linger with long-term health issues, many medical professionals fail to provide patients with the best help for the disease. In response, Megan Stewart created the PCOS Awareness Association (PCOSAA), a non-profit that focuses on providing the cause for individuals with PCOS. The PCOSAA will be hosting the first PCOS CON Sept. 19-21. For more details visit pcossa.org.
