Debby is moving out of the DMV. Here's how long we will feel impacts.

Post-Tropical Cyclone Debby has produced heavy rainfall in the DMV and the current forecast track ends most showers in our area by Friday evening.
Six people were inside the home at the time. No one was hurt.

WASHINGTON — What is now Post Tropical Cyclone Debby made landfall as a Category 1 hurricane early Monday morning in the Big Bend area of Florida. The storm made it's second landfall as a Tropical Storm shortly after 1 a.m. Thursday morning near Bulls Bay, South Carolina.

The Tornado Watch has been dropped for most of our area.

The heaviest rain has cleared out from Debby and we will be left with scattered showers through Friday afternoon.

The Flood Watch for the DMV has also been dropped early.

The good news is we have seen really beneficial rain amid our ongoing drought conditions.
