WASHINGTON — Storms with heavy rain have caused dangerous flash flooding. Flash Flood The watch has been extended until 2 p.m. Most of the region, from Frederick to D.C. to Baltimore is included in the warning.
Showers and isolated storms are waning now with the threat of additional heavy rain now over. Do not drive on a flooded road!
By Monday afternoon, the showers fade away and gradually some of the cloud cover thins out as well.
Highs will only be in the upper 70s to low 80s.
Several roads were in D.C., Maryland and Virginia due to the high waters. Officials made several water rescues throughout the area.
