WASHINGTON — By now you've heard about the rain heading our way on Saturday. If you have plans, you may be wondering when you can squeeze in some dry time. Right now it looks like Saturday evening and Saturday night are better for outdoor plans if you are trying to avoid the rain. The rain won't end completely until around 9 p.m., but showers will become lighter and scattered during the evening and night hours. At times there will be a break in the rain.
We got most of the rain overnight. Nearly five inches of rain fell in some areas, while others ended up with an inch of rain or less.
