WASHINGTON — It's almost turkey time! Thanksgiving is next week and that means the travel season is about to ramp up across D.C., Maryland, Virginia and the rest of the country.
Weather can sometimes cause a snag in travel plans. So far, weather for travel out of the DMV on the Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving, will be pleasant. A look at the forecast shows dry conditions across the DMV with highs in the low to mid 50s.
For now, Thanksgiving Day looks dry with highs in the 50s but with more clouds moving in ahead of our next disturbance. We could see a few showers after midnight Thanksgiving night, but the better rain chance is on Black Friday. Highs will remain in the 50s.
