We have issued another Weather Impact Alert Friday. Moisture associated with Helene will lead to off and on periods of showers and rain. A few storms will be possible as well.
We start off the morning with fog in some areas and isolated showers. Showers are possible at any point today, with the likelyhood of thunderstorms mainly after 3pm. A few storms could produce gusty winds and very heavy rain.
Showers and storms stick around through the night.
Saturday, as the remnant moisture from Helene drifts west to the Ohio Valley, it appears skies may dry for a time. Right now there is only a low chance for a scattered evening shower. Temperatures will be warmer, too, in the low and mid 80s.
